In 2007, Whitestar was born from the extinct Lehman Brothers Group, a leading company in Portugal in the management and recovery of credit and real estate portfolios. We mainly manage credit in default, originated by banks and other financial entities. At the center of our activity is the debtor-customer, for whom we seek to find the best solutions.
We integrate the Arrow Global Group in 2015, one of Europe’s leading investors and managers of alternative assets, namely credit and real estate
In 2021, Whitestar was acquired by the TDR Capital Group (United Kingdom), integrating one of the main European economic groups operating in the economic market for the acquisition and management of credit and real estate portfolios.
We combine experience with the fact that we offer an integrated and complete asset management service for investors and originators.
We currently manage over €10 billion in assets and have a multifaceted team of over 430 employees in Lisbon and Porto.

Arrow Global Group
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in the United Kingdom, is a leading European vertically integrated alternative asset management company, specialized in credit and real estate. It identifies, acquires and manages secured and unsecured loan portfolios, as well as real estate assets essentially from banks and financial institutions. The Arrow Global Group’s business is regulated in several of the five European countries where it is present, and it currently has €70 billion under management and more than 3,000 employees.
In Portugal, the investments include, among other companies, 100% stakes in Norfin SGOIC and Norfin Serviços (leaders in Portugal in the area of real estate asset management), Whitestar, (leader in the management of NPLs – Non Performing Loans), Restart Capital (corporate restructuring), Details – Hospitality, Sports & Leisure (hotel operations) and Hefesto (credit securitization).
